UK transport MEPs are all re-elected
All of the British MEPs who sat on the EU's Transport and Tourism Committee (TTC) and who stood for re-election have held on to their seats in the European Parliament.
Conservative MEPs Philip Bradbourn and Timothy Kirkhope, Labour MEP Brian Simpson and UK Independence Party (UKIP) MEP Mike Nattrass have all held on to their EU seats.
All four politicians were on the TCC, which oversees policy for transport safety and the development of trans-European transport infrastructure. The only UK member of the committee not to return is Labour MEP Robert Evans, who did not run in the election.
