Freight Best Practice running benchmark workshops

Freight Best Practice (FBP) is running two workshops this month to encourage trunking and aggregate sector transport operators to take part in its online benchmarking pilot. The workshops, being held in London on 8 July and at Lymm Services, Cheshire, on 10 July, will demonstrate how online benchmarking will work, what its capabilities are and provide an opportunity to ask questions.

Scott Hardy, principal consultant for Faber Maunsell, manager of the pilot on behalf of FBP feels online is the next generation of benchmarking. "It actually allows transport operators to compare their own performance against industry peers and to determine best in class, while maintaining anonymity.
