BRS & Renault Trucks Partnership Sees First New Configuration Renault Premium Landers In UK
BRS Ltd., one of the UK's leading suppliers of commercial vehicle contract hire solutions, has won a contract that sees the first Renault Premium Lander 8x2*6 trucks in the UK enter the BOCM Pauls fleet. Thirteen Renault Premium Lander 430.32s, in the new 8x2*6 configuration, as well as sixteen new 6x2 Renault Premium Long Distance 460.25 tractor units have joined the 180-strong BOCM fleet. The vehicles are being supplied by BRS Ltd., under a full contract hire package, which will see BRS supply and manage a full repair and maintenance programme for the new fleet.
The vehicles will be used by BOCM to deliver animal feed to farmers on a nationwide basis, with the Renault Premium Landers having specialist bulk tanker bodies to cope with the specific requirements of this application.
As well as the Renault Trucks vehicles, BRS Ltd. is providing the third party trailers in the contract hire agreement. The contract terms range from five to ten years on the trucks and equipment, with the supply and management of scheduled repair and maintenance for the life of the contracts.
